A little about The Point…

The Point is to Love God.

To know and love Jesus and spur others toward knowing and loving Him through worship, learning, and prayer. We believe one place to do this is at one of our weekly gatherings.

The Point is to Love People.

To be a place where it is okay to be unfinished, to support each other, to hold each other accountable, to have compassion and create connections. We believe one place to do this is at one of our weekly LifeGroups.

The Point is to Serve All.

To serve God, the church, the community, and the world, using the gifts that God has given us. We believe one of the ways to do this is by being involved in one of our Ministry Teams and to send out believers to the community, the province, the country and the world.

Therefore,

The Point is to Love God through drawing closer to Him, to Love people in our communities, and to Serve all by building God’s Kingdom here on earth.

The Point 2026 Church Goals

In obedience to God’s Word and because of Christ’s finished work,…

1. we will seek to cultivate a culture of discipleship where members grow in knowing Jesus personally, practice daily rhythms of following Him, and actively

2.  we will seek to nurture a culture where every member embraces their calling as a servant leader, recognizing that to follow the Lord is to serve others and use one’s gifts for the good of the body and the glory of God

3.  we will seek to grow as a community that pursues truth through reading and cherishing God’s Word, cultivating discernment, and developing a deep relationship with Jesus in order to reflect Him in a lost and searching world

4.  we will seek to design and implement a church-wide connections strategy that helps every person— from the first-time guest to the fully devoted disciple— to know and follow Jesus and take clear next steps toward a life of serving and giving their lives for His mission

5. we will seek to grow as a Christ-centered community that follows the Lord in all matters of faith, practice, and purpose—seeking God’s will to be done and His kingdom to come in and through the church

…through the power of the Holy Spirit.
