The Point Leadership Centre

Interested in doing seminary level courses? Now you can through The Point Leadership Centre. This Summer we will be offering a New Testament Survey Course!

The courses will run on Tuesday nights from 7:00-9:00pm at SFU Burnaby in AQ 3200. The cost for the course, some material, coffee & snacks is $25/course. The price has been reduced to allow access to as many people as possible. We believe in helping people grow in spiritual maturity and so we have tried to remove the cost barrier for you to do seminary-level courses. Lead360 is a partnership between the Canadian National Baptist Convention and Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary & College to provide quality training to everyone. The Lead360 courses can be done individually once-off or can all be done to receive a Lead360 Diploma from the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary.  For the Diploma Lead360 provides a simple path to equip you to fulfill God’s calling in your place of ministry. Two foundational cycles are offered:

  • Spiritual Formation
  • Biblical Foundation

Once the foundational cycles are completed students may choose from three other cycles:

  • Church Leadership
  • Pastoral Ministry
  • Church Starting

Students’ work is completed after participation in a Ministry Practicum. Each cycle consists of nine courses; each course is made up of eight one-hour presentations. Lead360 Courses will be accredited by the CNBC denomination. However the courses are not accredited by academic accrediting agencies (i.e. ATS, ABUE). Each student will receive a certificate of completion at the end of each cycle from the CNBC as well as a certificate from The Point Leadership Centre. Each student will receive a LEAD360 Diploma from the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary & College upon completion of three cycles of work and can attend the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary & College Graduation to receive their LEAD360 Diploma.
