Ideas for Packing Your Operation Christmas Child Box

November 5, 2014

Although packing a box for a child in need is lots of fun, sometimes it can be difficult to think of creative things that fit in a somewhat small shoebox!  I found this list of ideas online last week and thought others might find it as helpful as I did.  Samaritan’s Purse (the organization that runs Operation Christmas Child) says that boxes for teenage boys are the most needed of all the categories, and this list has some great ideas.

So be sure to grab a box (now available at all Point Gatherings and the Interfaith Centre), take a look at the list, and have fun filling it up and making a difference in the life of a child in need!

Why not consider packing a box for kids locally in need too & getting a group to do it too. Through the METROBOX project, here’s more information: http://pointchurch.ca/operation-christmas-child-and-metrobox-2014/

And here’s a word from everyone’s favorite Duck Dynasty friend, Uncle Si encouraging us all to pack a box!
